Community Guidelines

At Careocity Inc., we are dedicated to fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all members of our community, including Care Recipients, Decision Makers (DMs), and Care Ambassadors (Caregivers). These Community Guidelines are designed to uphold our values of empathy, integrity, and professionalism across all interactions within our application. By accessing or using the Careocity Inc. platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Guidelines in full. Violation of these Guidelines may result in suspension, termination, or other consequences as detailed below.


  1. Respectful Communication & Behavior
    Kindness and Empathy
    • Treat everyone with kindness and respect, regardless of background, role, or health journey.
    • Support one another through encouragement and constructive feedback.
    No Harassment or Bullying
    • Personal attacks, threats, or intimidation will not be tolerated.
    • Any form of harassment, including but not limited to verbal abuse, stalking, cyberbullying, or behavior creating a hostile environment, is strictly prohibited.
    No Hate Speech or Discrimination
    • Do not post, share, or engage in content that promotes racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, religious intolerance, ableism, ageism, or any other form of unlawful discrimination or hate speech.
    No Misinformation or Rumors
    • Share only accurate, fact-based information.
    • Avoid spreading rumors, false claims, or unverified content that could mislead or harm others.

  1. Appropriate Content
    No Pornographic, Violent, or Offensive Content
    • Content that is explicit, graphic, sexually suggestive, hateful, or disturbing is not permitted on the platform.
    No Unsolicited Messages or Spam
    • Do not send irrelevant promotions or repeated, unwanted messages to other users.
    • Advertising, solicitation, or endorsements without explicit written authorization from Careocity Inc. is prohibited.
    No Medical Advice
    • Users must refrain from offering specific medical diagnoses or treatment plans.
    • Encourage others to seek advice from qualified, licensed healthcare professionals.
    No Illegal Activities
    • The discussion, facilitation, or promotion of any illegal activities, behaviors, or substances is strictly forbidden.
    No Sharing Private Information Without Consent
    • Always obtain permission before sharing someone else’s personal details or stories.
    • Respect the confidentiality, privacy, and dignity of all users. Sharing health-related data without consent is strictly prohibited.

  1. Privacy and Security
    Protecting Personal Information
    • Avoid posting or sharing personal details such as addresses, identification numbers, payment details, or financial information.
    No Impersonation
    • Users may not impersonate others, including Careocity Inc. employees, staff, clients, caregivers, or public figures.
    No Sharing Confidential Information
    • Be cautious with sensitive content, particularly health-related or professional communications. Violation of confidentiality policies may result in serious consequences, including legal action.

  1. Consequences of Violations
    Content Removal
    • Content that violates these guidelines may be removed immediately, without prior notice, at the sole discretion of Careocity Inc.
    Temporary or Permanent Suspensions
    • Users found to be in repeated or severe violation may face temporary suspension or permanent bans from the platform.
    Legal Action
    • In extreme cases, such as those involving threats, abuse, intellectual property violations, or illegal activities, Careocity Inc. may notify and cooperate with law enforcement authorities to take appropriate legal action.

  1. Reporting Violations
    If you witness or experience behavior that violates these Community Guidelines, please report it immediately through the in-app reporting system or by contacting connect@careocity.co. Reports will be reviewed promptly, and your identity will be protected to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  1. Regional Compliance
    Careocity Inc. operates across multiple jurisdictions, and all users are required to comply with the laws and regulations applicable in their respective regions.
    • Users must ensure that their activities on the platform align with local laws, including but not limited to data protection, employment, discrimination, and intellectual property laws.
    • In the event of a conflict between these Community Guidelines and regional laws, the applicable local laws shall govern.
    • Careocity Inc. reserves the right to adjust its platform features and policies to comply with regional legal requirements.
